This might make the upcoming election the one that finally mobilizes young/new voters, if on both sides of that issue.
...Women and people of color across all age groups – especially Black and Asian Americans – are also more likely than men and white people to disapprove of the Supreme Court’s ruling.
That’s notable because young women and young women of color, in particular, have led civic and electoral participation in recent years. Young women voted at a higher rate than young men in 2020. And young women of color were [the most] likely to talk to their peers about politics, attend demonstrations and register others to vote...
In 2018 research, nearly half of age 18-24 women said they supported or were active participants in the reproductive rights movement.
